You are a lion’s cub, Judah, from the prey, my son, you have gone up. He crouches and lies down like a lion; like a lioness– who will rouse him?

Let those who curse the day curse it– those who are prepared to rouse Leviathan.

He is wise in heart and mighty in strength– who has resisted him and remained safe?

Serve the LORD in fear! Repent in terror!

He said to me,“Do you see, son of man? Is it a trivial thing that the house of Judah commits these abominations they are practicing here? For they have filled the land with violence and provoked me to anger still further. Look, they are putting the branch to their nose!
