TSK · Job 5:8

In his pain Manasseh asked the LORD his God for mercy and truly humbled himself before the God of his ancestors.

“As for you, if you prove faithful, and if you stretch out your hands toward him,

You will pray to him and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows to him.

Pray to me when you are in trouble! I will deliver you, and you will honor me!”

So I said,“O LORD of Heaven’s Armies, you are a just judge! You examine people’s hearts and minds. I want to see you pay them back for what they have done because I trust you to vindicate my cause.”

Because of this, in fact, I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, because I know the one in whom my faith is set and I am convinced that he is able to protect what has been entrusted to me until that day.

So then let those who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator as they do good.
