TSK · Job 7:20

For my sighing comes in place of my food, and my groanings flow forth like water.

Job Remonstrates with God“Therefore, I will not refrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.

I will say to God,‘Do not condemn me; tell me why you are contending with me.’

For you write down bitter things against me and cause me to inherit the sins of my youth.

I was in peace, and he has shattered me. He has seized me by the neck and crushed me. He has made me his target;

if I have covered my transgressions as men do, by hiding iniquity in my heart,

That person sings to others, saying:‘I have sinned and falsified what is right, but I was not punished according to what I deserved.

For you make them retreat when you aim your arrows at them.

O LORD God of Heaven’s Armies! How long will you remain angry at your people while they pray to you?
