Would not his splendor terrify you and the fear he inspires fall on you?

That is why I am terrified in his presence; when I consider, I am afraid because of him.

For the calamity from God was a terror to me, and by reason of his majesty I was powerless.

At this also my heart pounds and leaps from its place.

You severely discipline people for their sins; like a moth you slowly devour their strength. Surely all people are a mere vapor.(Selah)
