Now these are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon(called Peter), and Andrew his brother; James son of Zebedee and John his brother;

He appointed twelve: To Simon he gave the name Peter;

Simon(whom he named Peter), and his brother Andrew; and James, John, Philip, Bartholomew,

But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, because he knew all people.

Jesus replied,“Didn’t I choose you, the twelve, and yet one of you is the devil?”

Simon Peter, Thomas(called Didymus), Nathanael(who was from Cana in Galilee), the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples of his were together.

Now I mean this, that each of you is saying,“I am with Paul,” or“I am with Apollos,” or“I am with Cephas,” or“I am with Christ.”

Do we not have the right to the company of a believing wife, like the other apostles and the Lord’s brothers and Cephas?

and when James, Cephas, and John, who had a reputation as pillars, recognized the grace that had been given to me, they gave to Barnabas and me the right hand of fellowship, agreeing that we would go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.
