For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

Everyone will know by this that you are my disciples– if you have love for one another.”

Jesus replied,“If anyone loves me, he will obey my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and take up residence with him.

that they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they will be in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me.

I made known your name to them, and I will continue to make it known, so that the love you have loved me with may be in them, and I may be in them.”

He is the reason you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female– for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.

to equip the saints for the work of ministry, that is, to build up the body of Christ,

We proclaim him by instructing and teaching all people with all wisdom so that we may present every person mature in Christ.

For in him all the fullness of deity lives in bodily form,

And, after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace who called you to his eternal glory in Christ will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

(See what sort of love the Father has given to us: that we should be called God’s children– and indeed we are! For this reason the world does not know us: because it did not know him.

We love because he loved us first.
