The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs; the nations will obey him.

But as for us, the LORD is our God and we have not rejected him. Aaron’s descendants serve as the LORD’s priests and the Levites assist them with the work.

Our God is a God who delivers; the LORD, the sovereign Lord, can rescue from death.

many peoples will come and say,“Come, let us go up to the LORD’s mountain, to the temple of the God of Jacob, so he can teach us his requirements, and we can follow his standards.” For Zion will be the center for moral instruction; the LORD’s message will issue from Jerusalem.

Cry out and shout for joy, O citizens of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel acts mightily among you!”

On that day they will say to Jerusalem,“Don’t be afraid, Zion! Your hands must not be paralyzed from panic!

and repentance for the forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

Therefore, although God has overlooked such times of ignorance, he now commands all people everywhere to repent,

who are Israelites. To them belong the adoption as sons, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the temple worship, and the promises.
