As he got out he saw the large crowd, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

As Jesus came ashore he saw the large crowd and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he taught them many things.

Now the day began to draw to a close, so the twelve came and said to Jesus,“Send the crowd away, so they can go into the surrounding villages and countryside and find lodging and food, because we are in an isolated place.”

Don’t you say,‘There are four more months and then comes the harvest?’ I tell you, look up and see that the fields are already white for harvest!
