You will go to the Levitical priests and the judge in office in those days and seek a solution; they will render a verdict.

The one who covers his transgressions will not prosper, but whoever confesses them and forsakes them will find mercy.

Seek the LORD while he makes himself available; call to him while he is nearby!

The Parable of the Two Sons“What do you think? A man had two sons. He went to the first and said,‘Son, go and work in the vineyard today.’

and they went on to another village.

No, I tell you! But unless you repent, you will all perish as well!

I tell you, in the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need to repent.

It was appropriate to celebrate and be glad, for your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost and is found.’”

After this Jesus found him at the temple and said to him,“Look, you have become well. Don’t sin any more, lest anything worse happen to you.”

Jesus replied,“My kingdom is not from this world. If my kingdom were from this world, my servants would be fighting to keep me from being handed over to the Jewish authorities. But as it is, my kingdom is not from here.”

Now the law came in so that the transgression may increase, but where sin increased, grace multiplied all the more,

For what do I have to do with judging those outside? Are you not to judge those inside?

And regard the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as also our dear brother Paul wrote to you, according to the wisdom given to him,
