For the music director; according to the al-tashcheth style; a prayer of David. Do you rulers really pronounce just decisions? Do you judge people fairly?

The Israelites turn justice into bitterness; they throw what is fair and right to the ground.

For this reason the law lacks power, and justice is never carried out. Indeed, the wicked intimidate the innocent. For this reason justice is perverted.

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

She replied,“No one, Lord.” And Jesus said,“I do not condemn you either. Go, and from now on do not sin any more.”]]

Jesus replied,“My kingdom is not from this world. If my kingdom were from this world, my servants would be fighting to keep me from being handed over to the Jewish authorities. But as it is, my kingdom is not from here.”

The one who is spiritual discerns all things, yet he himself is understood by no one.

If so, have you not made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil motives?
