Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you become fruitful and inherit the land.

You must divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families. To a larger group you must give a larger inheritance, and to a smaller group you must give a smaller inheritance. Everyone’s inheritance must be in the place where his lot falls. You must inherit according to your ancestral tribes.

The LORD handed them over to Israel and they struck them down and chased them all the way to Greater Sidon, Misrephoth Maim, and the Mizpah Valley to the east. They struck them down until no survivors remained.

Judah’s Tribal Lands The following is a record of the territory assigned to the Israelites in the land of Canaan by Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the Israelite tribal leaders.

The LORD your God will drive them out from before you and remove them, so you can occupy their land as the LORD your God promised you.

So I will no longer remove before them any of the nations that Joshua left unconquered when he died,
