the Ammonite officials said to Hanun,“Do you really think David is trying to honor your father by sending these messengers to express his sympathy? No, his servants have come to you so they can get information and spy out the land!”

Again Pilate went out and said to the Jewish leaders,“Look, I am bringing him out to you, so that you may know that I find no reason for an accusation against him.”

On that very night before Herod was going to bring him out for trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, while guards in front of the door were keeping watch over the prison.
