The Babylonians broke the two bronze pillars in the temple of the LORD, as well as the movable stands and the large bronze basin called“The Sea.” They took all the bronze to Babylon.

I will turn my face away from them and they will desecrate my treasured place. Vandals will enter it and desecrate it.

When you bring foreigners, those uncircumcised in heart and in flesh, into my sanctuary, you desecrate it– even my house– when you offer my food, the fat and the blood. You have broken my covenant by all your abominable practices.
