Who has the king of Israel come out after? Who is it that you are pursuing? A dead dog? A single flea?

If I lift myself up, you hunt me as a fierce lion, and again you display your power against me.

Then the LORD said,“You have observed correctly. This means I am watching to make sure my threats are carried out.”

But he only got as far as the Benjamin Gate. There an officer in charge of the guards named Irijah, who was the son of Shelemiah and the grandson of Hananiah, stopped him. He seized Jeremiah and said,“You are deserting to the Babylonians!”

For the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel says,‘Fair Babylon will be like a threshing floor which has been trampled flat for harvest. The time for her to be cut down and harvested will come very soon.’

צ(Tsade) For no good reason my enemies hunted me down like a bird.

An end comes– the end comes! It has awakened against you! Look, it is coming!
