Jesus sent out these twelve, instructing them as follows:“Do not go on a road that leads to Gentile regions and do not enter any Samaritan town.

When the Lord saw her, he had compassion for her and said to her,“Do not weep.”

He fell with his face to the ground at Jesus’ feet and thanked him.(Now he was a Samaritan.)

The Judeans replied,“Aren’t we correct in saying that you are a Samaritan and are possessed by a demon?”
