I want you to share your food with the hungry and to provide shelter for homeless, oppressed people. When you see someone naked, clothe him! Don’t turn your back on your own flesh and blood!

Luke 3:11 TSK

John answered them,“The person who has two tunics must share with the person who has none, and the person who has food must do likewise.”

But give from your heart to those in need, and then everything will be clean for you.

So do not be overly concerned about what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not worry about such things.

But when you host an elaborate meal, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind.

Luke 16:9 TSK

And I tell you, make friends for yourselves by how you use worldly wealth, so that when it runs out you will be welcomed into the eternal homes.

And the king said to him,‘Well done, good slave! Because you have been faithful in a very small matter, you will have authority over ten cities.’

Then he brought them outside and asked,“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

My point is this: The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously will also reap generously.

We have come to know love by this: that Jesus laid down his life for us; thus we ought to lay down our lives for our fellow Christians.
