TSK · Luke 12:32

Like a shepherd he tends his flock; he gathers up the lambs with his arm; he carries them close to his heart; he leads the ewes along.

All of us had wandered off like sheep; each of us had strayed off on his own path, but the LORD caused the sin of all of us to attack him.

A Tree and Its Fruit“Watch out for false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are voracious wolves.

But immediately Jesus spoke to them:“Have courage! It is I. Do not be afraid.”

So the last will be first, and the first last.”

On that same occasion Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,“I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your gracious will.

Jesus replied,“My kingdom is not from this world. If my kingdom were from this world, my servants would be fighting to keep me from being handed over to the Jewish authorities. But as it is, my kingdom is not from here.”

For the payoff of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

He did this by predestining us to adoption as his legal heirs through Jesus Christ, according to the pleasure of his will–

Encouragement in Persecution This is evidence of God’s righteous judgment, to make you worthy of the kingdom of God, for which in fact you are suffering.

So since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us give thanks, and through this let us offer worship pleasing to God in devotion and awe.

New Birth to Joy and Holiness Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he gave us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

and has appointed us as a kingdom, as priests serving his God and Father– to him be the glory and the power for ever and ever! Amen.
