and the people believed. When they heard that the LORD had attended to the Israelites and that he had seen their affliction, they bowed down close to the ground.

Remember me, O LORD, when you show favor to your people! Pay attention to me, when you deliver,

When the crowd saw this, they were afraid and honored God who had given such authority to men.

And the crowds were saying,“This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth in Galilee.”

All their neighbors were filled with fear, and throughout the entire hill country of Judea all these things were talked about.

So the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen; everything was just as they had been told.

Then astonishment seized them all, and they glorified God. They were filled with awe, saying,“We have seen incredible things today.”

Then all the people of the Gerasenes and the surrounding region asked Jesus to leave them alone, for they were seized with great fear. So he got into the boat and left.

They will demolish you– you and your children within your walls– and they will not leave within you one stone on top of another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation from God.”

So they asked him,“Then who are you? Are you Elijah?” He said,“I am not!”“Are you the Prophet?” He answered,“No!”

The woman said to him,“Sir, I see that you are a prophet.

Differing Opinions About Jesus When they heard these words, some of the crowd began to say,“This really is the Prophet!”

Moses said,‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers. You must obey him in everything he tells you.

Great fear gripped the whole church and all who heard about these things.

So they glorified God because of me.
