Preaching in Galilee Now when Jesus heard that John had been imprisoned, he went into Galilee.

For Herod had arrested John, bound him, and put him in prison on account of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife,

But when John rebuked Herod the tetrarch because of Herodias, his brother’s wife, and because of all the evil deeds that he had done,

(For John had not yet been thrown into prison.)
