“For this reason I am sending you prophets and wise men and experts in the law, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town,

To the present hour we are hungry and thirsty, poorly clothed, brutally treated, and without a roof over our heads.

For to this you were called, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving an example for you to follow in his steps.

If anyone is meant for captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed by the sword, then by the sword he must be killed.This requires steadfast endurance and faith from the saints.
