The tempter came and said to him,“If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become bread.”

But Jesus was silent. The high priest said to him,“I charge you under oath by the living God, tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.”

and saying,“You who can destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself! If you are God’s Son, come down from the cross!”

Now when the centurion, who stood in front of him, saw how he died, he said,“Truly this man was God’s Son!”
