would not God discover it, for he knows one’s thoughts?

“‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: On that day thoughts will come into your mind, and you will devise an evil plan.

So they began to discuss this among themselves, saying,“It is because we brought no bread.”

So they began to discuss with one another about having no bread.

When Jesus perceived their hostile thoughts, he said to them,“Why are you raising objections within yourselves?

So Jesus answered him,“Simon, I have something to say to you.” He replied,“Say it, Teacher.”

But Jesus, realizing their thoughts, said to them,“Every kingdom divided against itself is destroyed, and a divided household falls.

When Jesus was aware that his disciples were complaining about this, he said to them,“Does this cause you to be offended?

Jesus could see that they wanted to ask him about these things, so he said to them,“Are you asking each other about this– that I said,‘In a little while you will not see me; again after a little while, you will see me’?

Jesus said a third time,“Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was distressed that Jesus asked him a third time,“Do you love me?” and said,“Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you.” Jesus replied,“Feed my sheep.

Peter then told her,“Why have you agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look! The feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out!”

For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing even to the point of dividing soul from spirit, and joints from marrow; it is able to judge the desires and thoughts of the heart.
