When the sound of the horn grew louder and louder, Moses was speaking and God was answering him with a voice.

and they saw the God of Israel. Under his feet there was something like a pavement made of sapphire, clear like the sky itself.

And the LORD said,“I will make all my goodness pass before your face, and I will proclaim the LORD by name before you; I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, I will show mercy to whom I will show mercy.”

The LORD descended in the cloud and stood with him there and proclaimed the LORD by name.

When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to approach him.

then they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you, LORD, are among this people, that you, LORD, are seen face to face, that your cloud stands over them, and that you go before them by day in a pillar of cloud and in a pillar of fire by night.

The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you– from your fellow Israelites; you must listen to him.

As for me, because I am innocent I will see your face; when I awake you will reveal yourself to me.

To whom can you compare God? To what image can you liken him?

“Son of man, offer a riddle, and tell a parable to the house of Israel.

This fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet:“I will open my mouth in parables, I will announce what has been hidden from the foundation of the world.”

No one has ever seen God. The only one, himself God, who is in closest fellowship with the Father, has made God known.

I no longer call you slaves, because the slave does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because I have revealed to you everything I heard from my Father.

For now we see in a mirror indirectly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known.

among whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe so they would not see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God.

Consequently the one who rejects this is not rejecting human authority but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.

The Son is the radiance of his glory and the representation of his essence, and he sustains all things by his powerful word, and so when he had accomplished cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

Yet these men, as a result of their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and insult the glorious ones.
