And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God,

As for me, because I am innocent I will see your face; when I awake you will reveal yourself to me.

You guide me by your wise advice, and then you will lead me to a position of honor.

The man from whom the demons had gone out begged to go with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying,

And Jesus said to him,“I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.”

Washing the Disciples’ Feet Just before the Passover Feast, Jesus knew that his time had come to depart from this world to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now loved them to the very end.

“Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, so that they can see my glory that you gave me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

Thus we are full of courage and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
