So Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh and told him,“This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has said:‘How long do you refuse to humble yourself before me? Release my people so that they may serve me!

“How long must I bear with this evil congregation that murmurs against me? I have heard the complaints of the Israelites that they murmured against me.

¶ Book 1(Psalms 1-41) How blessed is the one who does not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand in the pathway with sinners, or sit in the assembly of scoffers!

To impart shrewdness to the morally naive, a discerning plan to the young person.

Because they hated moral knowledge, and did not choose to fear the LORD,

And you will say,“How I hated discipline! My heart spurned reproof!

and I saw among the naive– I discerned among the youths– a young man who lacked sense.

“Whoever is naive, let him turn in here,” To those who lack understanding, she has said,

The scorner sought wisdom–there was none, but understanding was easy for a discerning person.

Penalties have been prepared for scorners, and floggings for the backs of fools.

Go and learn what this saying means:‘I want mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Jesus answered,“You unbelieving and perverse generation! How much longer must I be with you? How much longer must I endure you? Bring him here to me.”

saying,“If you had only known on this day, even you, the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

Above all, understand this: In the last days blatant scoffers will come, being propelled by their own evil urges
