TSK · Proverbs 12:13

David replied to Recab and his brother Baanah, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite,“As surely as the LORD lives, who has delivered my life from all adversity,

You destroy liars; the LORD despises violent and deceitful people.

He protects all his bones; not one of them is broken.

Their slander will bring about their demise. All who see them will shudder,

The wise person accepts instructions, but the one who speaks foolishness will come to ruin.

The tongue of the wise treats knowledge correctly, but the mouth of the fool spouts out folly.

The one who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps his life from troubles.

The king gave another order, and those men who had maliciously accused Daniel were brought and thrown into the lions’ den– they, their children, and their wives. They did not even reach the bottom of the den before the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones.

Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will trouble, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
