like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds after the rain. This was the appearance of the surrounding brilliant light; it looked like the glory of the LORD. When I saw it, I threw myself face down, and I heard a voice speaking.

God’s Glory Leaves the Temple As I watched, I saw on the platform above the top of the cherubim something like a sapphire, resembling the shape of a throne, appearing above them.

The High Priest of a Better Covenant Now the main point of what we are saying is this: We have such a high priest, one who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,

I will grant the one who conquers permission to sit with me on my throne, just as I too conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

And whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,

Then I saw standing in the middle of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the middle of the elders, a Lamb that appeared to have been killed. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

They said to the mountains and to the rocks,“Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who is seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,

So the woman gave birth to a son, a male child, who is going to rule over all the nations with an iron rod. Her child was suddenly caught up to God and to his throne,

The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures threw themselves to the ground and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne, saying:“Amen! Hallelujah!”

And the one seated on the throne said:“Look! I am making all things new!” Then he said to me,“Write it down, because these words are reliable and true.”

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life– water as clear as crystal– pouring out from the throne of God and of the Lamb,
