Nonetheless, because you have treated the LORD with such contempt in this matter, the son who has been born to you will certainly die.”

“Son of man, these men have erected their idols in their hearts and placed the obstacle leading to their iniquity right before their faces. Should I really allow them to seek me?

But he turned and said to Peter,“Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, because you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but on man’s.”

Clear the Debts“And why don’t you judge for yourselves what is right?

Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but(as if it were possible) by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone,

Who are you to pass judgment on another’s servant? Before his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who create dissensions and obstacles contrary to the teaching that you learned. Avoid them!

Do not give offense to Jews or Greeks or to the church of God,

For the love of Christ controls us, since we have concluded this, that Christ died for all; therefore all have died.

so that you can decide what is best, and thus be sincere and blameless for the day of Christ,

If so, have you not made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil motives?

The one who loves his fellow Christian resides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.
