TSK · Zechariah 3:8

Many are appalled when they see me, but you are my secure shelter.

Look, I and the sons whom the LORD has given me are reminders and object lessons in Israel, sent from the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, who lives on Mount Zion.

Later the LORD explained,“In the same way that my servant Isaiah has walked around in undergarments and barefoot for the past three years, as an object lesson and omen pertaining to Egypt and Cush,

He said to me,“You are my servant, Israel, through whom I will reveal my splendor.”

The Lord Will Vindicate His Servant“Look, my servant will succeed! He will be elevated, lifted high, and greatly exalted–

Having suffered, he will reflect on his work, he will be satisfied when he understands what he has done.“My servant will acquit many, for he carried their sins.

In those days and at that time I will raise up for them a righteous descendant of David.“‘He will do what is just and right in the land.

Say,‘I am an object lesson for you. Just as I have done, it will be done to them; they will go into exile and captivity.’

Ezekiel will be an object lesson for you; you will do all that he has done. When it happens, then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD.’

I will prepare for them a healthy planting. They will no longer be victims of famine in the land and will no longer bear the insults of the nations.

Then say to him,‘The LORD of Heaven’s Armies says,“Look– here is the man whose name is Branch, who will sprout up from his place and build the temple of the LORD.

For, I think, God has exhibited us apostles last of all, as men condemned to die, because we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to people.
