It happened, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the middle of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot lived.

God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

The angel of Yahweh said to him, "Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come forth as an adversary, because your way is perverse before me:

Remember me, my God, concerning this, and don't wipe out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for its observances.

Remember them, my God, because they have defiled the priesthood, and the covenant of the priesthood, and of the Levites.

Yahweh has sworn by the pride of Jacob, "Surely I will never forget any of their works.
