Save me, God, for the waters have come up to my neck!

The voice of one who calls out, "Prepare the way of Yahweh in the wilderness! Make a level highway in the desert for our God.

I gave my back to the strikers, and my cheeks to those who plucked off the hair; I didn't hide my face from shame and spitting.

Who has believed our message? To whom has the arm of Yahweh been revealed?
