You shall cut it in pieces, and pour oil on it. It is a meal offering.

For my sighing comes before I eat. My groanings are poured out like water.

Preserve me, God, for in you do I take refuge.

For dogs have surrounded me. A company of evildoers have enclosed me. They have pierced my hands and feet.

But I trust in you, Yahweh. I said, "You are my God."

For Yahweh loves justice, and doesn't forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.

As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants after you, God.

saying, "God has forsaken him. Pursue and take him, for no one will rescue him."

We roar all like bears, and moan bitterly like doves: we look for justice, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.

At the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" which is, being interpreted, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

He said to them, "This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled."

Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you."
