Early in the morning, Laban rose up, and kissed his sons and his daughters, and blessed them. Laban departed and returned to his place.

You shall fear Yahweh your God; you shall serve him; and you shall cling to him, and you shall swear by his name.

Boaz answered her, "It has fully been shown me, all that you have done to your mother-in-law since the death of your husband; and how you have left your father and your mother, and the land of your birth, and have come to a people that you didn't know before.

A friend loves at all times; and a brother is born for adversity.

For Yahweh will have compassion on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land. The foreigner will join himself with them, and they will unite with the house of Jacob.

He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn't worthy of me.

But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sad, for he was one who had great possessions.

At this, many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
