And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.

For by these he judgeth the peoples; He giveth food in abundance.

He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, And herb for the service of man; That he may bring forth food out of the earth,

He hath given food unto them that fear him: He will ever be mindful of his covenant.

Who giveth food to all flesh; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever.

Who executeth justice for the oppressed; Who giveth food to the hungry. Jehovah looseth the prisoners;

He shall dwell on high; his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks; his bread shall be given [him] ; his waters shall be sure.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And yet He left not himself without witness, in that he did good and gave you from heaven rains and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness.

for in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain even of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
