Jehovah is slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, forgiving iniquity and transgression; and that will by no means clear [the guilty], visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation.
And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away unto their tents, joyful and glad of heart for the goodness that Jehovah had showed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people.

For they have not served thee in their kingdom, and in thy great goodness that thou gavest them, and in the large and fat land which thou gavest before them, neither turned they from their wicked works.
Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise thee.
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in lovingkindness unto all them that call upon thee.
Bless Jehovah, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits:
Oh that men would praise Jehovah for his lovingkindness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Oh give thanks unto Jehovah; For he is good; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever.
He showeth his word unto Jacob, His statutes and his ordinances unto Israel.
