So teach us to number our days, That we may get us a heart of wisdom.

So as to incline thine ear unto wisdom, And apply thy heart to understanding;

And he taught me, and said unto me: Let thy heart retain my words; Keep my commandments, and live;

Hear instruction, and be wise, And refuse it not.

I turned about, and my heart [was set] to know and to search out, and to seek wisdom and the reason [of things], and to know that wickedness is folly, and that foolishness is madness.

When I applied my heart to know wisdom, and to see the business that is done upon the earth (for also there is that neither day nor night seeth sleep with his eyes), [

While he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
