that the king^H4428 said^H559 unto Nathan^H5416 the prophet,^H5030 See^H7200 now, I dwell^H3427 in a house^H1004 of cedar,^H730 but the ark^H727 of God^H430 dwelleth^H3427 within^H8432 curtains.^H3407

And Jehovah^H3068 sent^H7971 Nathan^H5416 unto David.^H1732 And he came^H935 unto him, and said^H559 unto him, There were two^H8147 men^H582 in one^H259 city;^H5892 the one^H259 rich,^H6223 and the other^H259 poor.^H7326

And these are the singers,^H7891 heads^H7218 of fathers'^H1 [houses] of the Levites,^H3881 [who dwelt] in the chambers^H3957 [and were] free^H6362 [from other service]; for they were employed in their work^H4399 day^H3119 and night.^H3915

And he appointed^H5414 certain of the Levites^H3881 to minister^H8334 before^H6440 the ark^H727 of Jehovah,^H3068 and to celebrate^H2142 and to thank^H3034 and praise^H1984 Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of Israel:^H3478

And Jehovah^H3068 spake^H1696 unto Gad,^H1410 David's^H1732 seer,^H2374 saying,^H559

Moreover David^H1732 and the captains^H8269 of the host^H6635 set apart^H914 for the service^H5656 certain of the sons^H1121 of Asaph,^H623 and of Heman,^H1968 and of Jeduthun,^H3038 who should prophesy^H5012 with harps,^H3658 with psalteries,^H5035 and with cymbals:^H4700 and the number^H4557 of them that did the work^H582 according to their service^H5656 was:

All this, [said David], have I been made to understand^H7919 in writing^H3791 from the hand^H3027 of Jehovah,^H3068 even all the works^H4399 of this pattern.^H8403

And he appointed,^H5975 according to the ordinance^H4941 of David^H1732 his father,^H1 the courses^H4256 of the priests^H3548 to their service,^H5656 and the Levites^H3881 to their offices,^H4931 to praise,^H1984 and to minister^H8334 before the priests,^H3548 as the duty^H1697 of every day^H3117 required;^H3117 the doorkeepers^H7778 also by their courses^H4256 at every gate:^H8179 for so had David^H1732 the man^H376 of God^H430 commanded.^H4687

And the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 that were present^H4672 at Jerusalem^H3389 kept^H6213 the feast^H2282 of unleavened bread^H4682 seven^H7651 days^H3117 with great^H1419 gladness;^H8057 and the Levites^H3881 and the priests^H3548 praised^H1984 Jehovah^H3068 day^H3117 by day,^H3117 [singing] with loud^H5797 instruments^H3627 unto Jehovah.^H3068

And at the dedication^H2598 of the wall^H2346 of Jerusalem^H3389 they sought^H1245 the Levites^H3881 out of all their places,^H4725 to bring^H935 them to Jerusalem,^H3389 to keep^H6213 the dedication^H2598 with gladness,^H8057 both with thanksgivings,^H8426 and with singing,^H7892 with cymbals,^H4700 psalteries,^H5035 and with harps.^H3658
