And there were more^H7227 chief^H7218 men^H1397 found^H4672 of the sons^H1121 of Eleazar^H499 than of the sons^H1121 of Ithamar;^H385 and [thus] were they divided:^H2505 of the sons^H1121 of Eleazar^H499 there were sixteen,^H8337 heads^H7218 of fathers'^H1 houses;^H1004 and of the sons^H1121 of Ithamar,^H385 according to their fathers'^H1 houses,^H1004 eight.^H8083

I know^H3045 also, my God,^H430 that thou triest^H974 the heart,^H3824 and hast pleasure^H7521 in uprightness.^H3476 As for me, in the uprightness^H4339 of my heart^H3824 I have willingly offered^H5068 all these things: and now have I seen^H7200 with joy^H8057 thy people,^H5971 that are present^H4672 here, offer willingly^H5068 unto thee.

And Jehiel,^H3171 and Azaziah,^H5812 and Nahath,^H5184 and Asahel,^H6214 and Jerimoth,^H3406 and Jozabad,^H3107 and Eliel,^H447 and Ismachiah,^H3253 and Mahath,^H4287 and Benaiah,^H1141 were overseers^H6496 under the hand^H3027 of Conaniah^H3562 and Shimei^H8096 his brother,^H251 by the appointment^H4662 of Hezekiah^H3169 the king,^H4428 and Azariah^H5838 the ruler^H5057 of the house^H1004 of God.^H430

And all they that were round about^H5439 them strengthened^H2388 their hands^H3027 with vessels^H3627 of silver,^H3701 with gold,^H2091 with goods,^H7399 and with beasts,^H929 and with precious things,^H4030 besides all that was willingly offered.^H5068

and all^H3606 the silver^H3702 and gold^H1722 that thou shalt find^H7912 in all^H3606 the province^H4083 of Babylon,^H895 with^H5974 the freewill-offering^H5069 of the people,^H5972 and of the priests,^H3549 offering willingly^H5069 for the house^H1005 of their God^H426 which is in Jerusalem;^H3390

And some from among the heads^H7218 of^H7117 fathers'^H1 [houses] gave^H5414 unto the work.^H4399 The governor^H8660 gave^H5414 to the treasury^H214 a thousand^H505 darics^H1871 of gold,^H2091 fifty^H2572 basins,^H4219 five^H2568 hundred^H3967 and thirty^H7970 priests'^H3548 garments.^H3801

Thus speaketh^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 the God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 saying,^H559 Because thou hast sent^H7971 letters^H5612 in thine own name^H8034 unto all the people^H5971 that are at Jerusalem,^H3389 and to Zephaniah^H6846 the son^H1121 of Maaseiah,^H4641 the priest,^H3548 and to all the priests,^H3548 saying,^H559

And^G1161 as^G2980 they^G846 spake^G2980 unto^G4314 the people,^G2992 the priests^G2409 and^G2532 the captain^G4755 of the temple^G2411 and^G2532 the Sadducees^G4523 came upon^G2186 them,^G846

Then^G5119 went^G565 the captain^G4755 with^G4862 the officers,^G5257 and^G5119 brought^G71 them,^G846 [but] without^{G3326 G3756} violence;^G970 for^G1063 they feared^G5399 the people,^G2443 lest^G3361 they should be stoned.^G3034

[ Let] each man^G1538 [do] according as^G2531 he hath purposed^G4255 in his heart:^G2588 not^{G3361 G1537} grudgingly,^G3077 or^G2228 of^G1537 necessity:^G318 for^G1063 God^G2316 loveth^G25 a cheerful^G2431 giver.^G1395
