And^G1161 he^G4687 that was sown^G4687 among^G1519 the thorns,^G173 this is^G2076 he^G3778 that heareth^G191 the word;^G3056 and^G2532 the care^G3308 of the^G5127 world,^G165 and^G2532 the deceitfulness^G539 of riches,^G4149 choke^G4846 the word,^G3056 and^G2532 he becometh^G1096 unfruitful.^G175

And^G1161 about^G4012 the^G5610 eleventh^G1734 [hour]^G5610 he went out,^G1831 and^G2532 found^G2147 others^G243 standing;^G2476 and^G2532 he saith^G3004 unto them,^G846 Why^G5101 stand ye^G2476 here^G5602 all^G3650 the day^G2250 idle?^G692

But^G235 I know^G1097 you,^G5209 that^G3754 ye have^G2192 not^G3756 the love^G26 of God^G2316 in^G1722 yourselves.^G1438

If^G1437 a man^G5100 abide^G3306 not^G3361 in^G1722 me,^G1698 he is cast^G906 forth^G1854 as^G5613 a branch,^G2814 and^G2532 is withered;^G3583 and^G2532 they gather^G4863 them,^G846 and^G2532 cast^G906 them into^G1519 the fire,^G4442 and^G2532 they are burned.^G2545

Wherefore,^G5620 my^G3450 beloved^G27 brethren,^G80 be ye^G1096 stedfast,^G1476 unmoveable,^G277 always^G3842 abounding^G4052 in^G1722 the work^G2041 of the Lord,^G2962 forasmuch as ye know^G1492 that^G3754 your^G5216 labor^G2873 is^G2076 not^G3756 vain^G2756 in^G1722 the Lord.^G2962

how that^G3754 in^G1722 much^G4183 proof^G1382 of affliction^G2347 the abundance^G4050 of their^G846 joy^G5479 and^{G2532 G2596} their^G846 deep^G899 poverty^G4432 abounded^G4052 unto^G1519 the riches^G4149 of their^G846 liberality.^G572

while^G2532 they themselves^G846 also, with supplication^G1162 on your^G5216 behalf,^G5228 long after^G1971 you^G5209 by reason^G1223 of the exceeding^G5235 grace^G5485 of God^G2316 in^G1909 you.^G5213

And^G2532 this^G5124 I pray,^G4336 that^G2443 your^G5216 love^G26 may abound^G4052 yet^G2089 more^G3123 and^G2532 more^G3123 in^G1722 knowledge^G1922 and^G2532 all^G3956 discernment;^G1922

rooted^G4492 and^G2532 builded up^G2026 in^G1722 him,^G846 and^G2532 established^G950 in^G1722 your faith,^G4102 even as^G2531 ye were taught,^G1321 abounding^{G4052 G846} in^G1722 thanksgiving.^G2169

and^G1161 the Lord^G2962 make^G4121 you^G5209 to increase^G4121 and^G2532 abound^G4052 in love^G26 one^G240 toward^G1519 another,^G240 and^G2532 toward^G1519 all^G3956 men, even^G2532 as^G2509 we^G2249 also [do] toward^G1519 you;^G5209

We are bound^G3784 to give thanks^G2168 to God^G2316 always^G3842 for^G4012 you,^G5216 brethren,^G80 even as^G2531 it is^G2076 meet,^G514 for that^G3754 your^G5216 faith^G4102 groweth exceedingly,^G5232 and^G2532 the love^G26 of each^G1538 one^G1520 of you^G5216 all^G3956 toward^G1519 one another^G240 aboundeth;^G4121

And^G1161 let^G3129 our [people]^G2251 also^G2532 learn^G3129 to maintain^G4291 good^G2570 works^G2041 for^G1519 necessary^G316 uses,^G5532 that^G2443 they be^G5600 not^G3361 unfruitful.^G175

that^G2443 ye be^G1096 not^G3361 sluggish,^G3576 but^G1161 imitators^G3402 of them who^G2816 through^G1223 faith^G4102 and^G2532 patience^G3115 inherit^G2816 the promises.^G1860
