Then Jacob^H3290 said^H559 unto his household,^H1004 and to all that were with him, Put away^H5493 the foreign^H5236 gods^H430 that are among you,^H8432 and purify^H2891 yourselves, and change^H2498 your garments:^H8071

Ye shall not make^H6213 [other gods]^H430 with me; gods of silver,^H3701 or gods^H430 of gold,^H2091 ye shall not make^H6213 unto you.

It shall be a perpetual^H5769 statute^H2708 throughout your generations^H1755 in all your dwellings,^H4186 that ye shall eat^H398 neither fat^H2459 nor blood.^H1818

And whatsoever man^H376 there be of the house^H1004 of Israel,^H3478 or of the strangers^H1616 that sojourn^H1481 among^H8432 them, that eateth^H398 any manner of blood,^H1818 I will set^H5414 my face^H6440 against that soul^H5315 that eateth^H398 blood,^H1818 and will cut him off^H3772 from among^H7130 his people.^H5971

Only ye shall not eat^H398 the blood;^H1818 thou shalt pour^H8210 it out upon the earth^H776 as water.^H4325

Ye shall not eat^H398 of anything that dieth of itself:^H5038 thou mayest give^H5414 it unto the sojourner^H1616 that is within thy gates,^H8179 that he may eat^H398 it; or thou mayest sell^H4376 it unto a foreigner:^H5237 for thou art a holy^H6918 people^H5971 unto Jehovah^H3068 thy God.^H430 Thou shalt not boil^H1310 a kid^H1423 in its mother's^H517 milk.^H2461

and the people^H5971 flew^H5860 upon the spoil,^H7998 and took^H3947 sheep,^H6629 and oxen,^H1241 and calves,^H1121 and slew^H7819 them on the ground;^H776 and the people^H5971 did eat^H398 them with the blood.^H1818

Then said^H559 I, Ah^H162 Lord^H136 Jehovah!^H3069 behold, my soul^H5315 hath not been polluted;^H2930 for from my youth^H5271 up even till now have I not eaten^H398 of that which dieth of itself,^H5038 or is torn^H2966 of beasts; neither came^H935 there abominable^H6292 flesh^H1320 into my mouth.^H6310

Wherefore say^H559 unto them, Thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H3069 Ye eat^H398 with the blood,^H1818 and lift up^H5375 your eyes^H5869 unto your idols,^H1544 and shed^H8210 blood:^H1818 and shall ye possess^H3423 the land?^H776

that ye abstain^G567 from things sacrificed to idols,^G1494 and^G2532 from blood,^G129 and^G2532 from things strangled,^G4156 and^G2532 from fornication;^G4202 from^G1537 which^G3739 if ye keep^G1301 yourselves,^G1438 it shall be^G4238 well^G2095 with you. Fare ye well.^G4517

but^G1161 as it is,^G3570 I wrote^G1125 unto you^G5213 not^G3361 to keep company,^G4874 if^G1437 any man^G5100 that is named a^G2228 brother^G80 be^G1510 a^G2228 fornicator,^G4205 or^G2228 covetous,^G4123 or^G2228 an idolater,^G1496 or^G2228 a reviler,^G3060 or^G2228 a drunkard,^G3183 or^G2228 an extortioner;^G727 with such a one^G5108 no, not^G3366 to eat.^G4906

Meats^G1033 for the belly,^G2836 and^G2532 the belly^G2836 for meats:^G1033 but^G1161 God^G2316 shall bring to nought^G2673 both^G2532 it^G3778 and^G2532 them.^G5023 But^G235 the body^G4983 is not^G3756 for fornication,^G4202 but^G235 for the Lord;^G2962 and^G2532 the Lord^G2962 for the body:^G4983

But,^G1223 because of fornications,^G4202 let each man^G1538 have^G2192 his own^G1438 wife,^G1135 and^G2532 let each woman^G1538 have^G2192 her own^G2398 husband.^G435

Concerning^G4012 therefore^G3767 the eating^G1035 of things sacrificed to idols,^G1494 we know^G1492 that^G3754 no idol^G1497 is [anything]^G3762 in^G1722 the world,^G2889 and^G2532 that^G3754 there is no^{G3762 G2087} God^G2316 but^{G1487 G3361} one.^G1520

Wherefore,^G1355 my^G3450 beloved,^G27 flee^G5343 from^G575 idolatry.^G1495

Now^G1161 the works^G2041 of the flesh^G4561 are^G2076 manifest,^G5318 which^G3748 are^G2076 [these]: ^G3430 fornication,^G4202 uncleanness,^G167 lasciviousness,^G766

Put to death^G3499 therefore^G3767 your^G5216 members^G3196 which^G3588 are upon^G1909 the earth:^G1093 fornication,^G4202 uncleanness,^G167 passion,^G3806 evil^G2556 desire,^G1939 and^G2532 covetousness,^G4124 which^G3748 is^G2076 idolatry;^G1495

For^G3754 every^G3956 creature^G2938 of God^G2316 is good,^G2570 and^G2532 nothing^G3762 is to be rejected,^G579 if it be received^G2983 with^G3326 thanksgiving:^G2169

[None Let] marriage^G1062 [be] had in^G1722 honor^G5093 among all,^G3956 and^G2532 [let] the bed^G2845 [be] undefiled:^G283 for^G1161 fornicators^G4205 and^G2532 adulterers^G3432 God^G2316 will judge.^G2919

But^G235 I have^G2192 a few things^G3641 against^G2596 thee,^G4675 because^G3754 thou hast^G2192 there^G1563 some that hold^G2902 the teaching^G1322 of Balaam,^G903 who^G3739 taught^G1321 Balak^G904 to cast^G906 a stumblingblock^G4625 before^G1799 the children^G5207 of Israel,^G2474 to eat^G5315 things sacrificed to idols,^G1494 and^G2532 to commit fornication.^G4203

And^G2532 the rest^G3062 of mankind,^G444 who^G3739 were^G615 not^G3756 killed^G615 with^G1722 these^G3778 plagues,^G4127 repented^G3340 not^G3756 of^G1537 the works^G2041 of their^G846 hands,^G5495 that^G2443 they should^G4352 not^G3361 worship^G4352 demons,^G1140 and^G2532 the idols^G1497 of gold,^G5552 and^G2532 of silver,^G693 and^G2532 of brass,^G5470 and^G2532 of stone,^G3035 and^G2532 of wood;^G3585 which^G3739 can^G1410 neither^G3777 see,^G991 nor^G3777 hear,^G191 nor^G3777 walk:^G4043

And^G2532 the voice^G5456 which^G3739 I heard^G191 from^G1537 heaven,^G3772 I heard it again^G3825 speaking^G2980 with^G3326 me,^G1700 and^G2532 saying,^G3004 Go,^G5217 take^G2983 the book^G974 which^G3588 is open^G455 in^G1722 the hand^G5495 of the angel^G32 that^G3588 standeth^G2476 upon^G1909 the sea^G2281 and^G2532 upon^G1909 the earth.^G1093
