And all the men^H582 of his house,^H1004 those born^H3211 in the house,^H1004 and those bought^H4736 with money^H3701 of a foreigner,^H1121 were circumcised^H4135 with him.

And if it seem evil^H7489 unto you^H4310 to serve^H5647 Jehovah,^H3068 choose^H977 you this day^H3117 whom^H5869 ye will serve;^H5647 whether the gods^H430 which your fathers^H1 served^H5647 that were beyond^H5676 the River,^H5104 or the gods^H430 of the Amorites,^H567 in whose land^H776 ye dwell:^H3427 but as for me and my house,^H1004 we will serve^H5647 Jehovah.^H3068

And^G2532 there^G2400 cometh^G2064 one^G1520 of the rulers of the synagogue,^G752 Jairus^G2383 by name;^G3686 and^G2532 seeing^G1492 him,^G846 he falleth^G4098 at^G4314 his^G846 feet,^G4228

And^G2532 he said^G2036 unto them,^G846 Go ye^G4198 into^G1519 all^G537 the world,^G2889 and preach^G2784 the gospel^G2098 to the whole^G3956 creation.^G2937

But^G1161 when^G3753 they believed^G4100 Philip^G5376 preaching^G2097 good tidings^G3588 concerning^G4012 the kingdom^G932 of God^G2316 and^G2532 the name^G3686 of Jesus^G2424 Christ,^G5547 they were baptized,^G907 both^G5037 men^G435 and^G2532 women.^G1135

a devout^G2152 man, and^G2532 one that feared^G5399 God^G2316 with^G4862 all^G3956 his^G846 house,^G3624 who^G5037 gave^G4160 much^G4183 alms^G1654 to the people,^G2992 and^G2532 prayed^G1189 to God^G2316 always.^G1275

And^G1161 after^G3326 the reading^G320 of the law^G3551 and^G2532 the prophets^G4396 the rulers of the synagogue^G752 sent^G649 unto^G4314 them,^G846 saying,^{G3004 G435} Brethren,^G80 if^G1487 ye have^G2076 any word^G3056 of exhortation^{G1722 G5213} for^G4314 the people,^G2992 say on.^G3004

And^G5037 he brought^G321 them^G846 up into^G1519 his^G846 house,^G3624 and set^G3908 food^G5132 before them,^G3908 and^G2532 rejoiced^G21 greatly, with all his house,^G3832 having believed^G4100 in God.^G2316

How^G4459 then^G3767 shall they call on him^G1941 in^G1519 whom^G3739 they have^G4100 not^G3756 believed?^G4100 and^G1161 how^G4459 shall they believe^G4100 in him whom^G3739 they have^G191 not^G3756 heard?^G191 and^G1161 how^G4459 shall they hear^G191 without^G5565 a preacher?^G2784
