and set^H3427 two^H8147 men,^H582 base^H1100 fellows,^H1121 before him, and let them bear witness^H5749 against him, saying,^H559 Thou didst curse^H1288 God^H430 and the king.^H4428 And then carry him out,^H3318 and stone^H5619 him to death.^H4191

And^G2532 when they were assembled^G4863 with^G3326 the elders,^G4245 and^G5037 had taken^G2983 counsel,^G4824 they gave^G1325 much^G2425 money^G694 unto the soldiers,^G4757

^G1380 Think^G1380 not^G3361 that^G3754 I^G1473 will accuse^G2723 you^G5216 to^G4314 the Father:^G3962 there is^G2076 one that accuseth^G2723 you,^G5216 [even] Moses,^G3475 on^G1519 whom^G3739 ye^G5210 have set your hope.^G1679

The Jews^G2453 answered^G611 him,^{G846 G3004} For^G4012 a^G2041 good^G2570 work^G2041 we stone^G3034 thee^G4571 not,^G3756 but^G235 for^G4012 blasphemy;^G988 and^G2532 because that^G3754 thou,^G4771 being^G5607 a man,^G444 makest^G4160 thyself^G4572 God.^G2316

and^G5037 set up^G2476 false^G5571 witnesses,^G3144 who said,^G3004 This^G3778 man^G444 ceaseth^G3973 not^G3756 to speak^{G2980 G989} words^G4487 against^G2596 this^G5127 holy^G40 place,^G5117 and^G2532 the law:^G3551

For^G1063 Moses^G3475 from generations^G1074 of^G1537 old^G744 hath^G2192 in every^G2596 city^G4172 them^G3588 that preach^G2784 him,^G846 being read^G314 in^G1722 the synagogues^G4864 every^G3956 sabbath.^G2596

And^G1161 they, when they heard^G191 it, glorified^G1392 God;^G2962 and^G5037 they said^G2036 unto him,^G846 Thou seest,^G2334 brother,^G80 how many^G4214 thousands^G3461 there are^G1526 among the Jews^G2453 of them that^G3588 have believed;^G4100 and^G2532 they are^G5225 all^G3956 zealous^G2207 for the law:^G3551

And^G1161 when it was^G1096 day,^{G2250 G5100} the Jews^G2453 banded^G4160 together,^G4963 and bound^G332 themselves^G1438 under a curse,^G332 saying that^G3004 they would^G5315 neither^G3383 eat^G5315 nor^G3383 drink^G4095 till^G2193 they^G3739 had killed^G615 Paul.^G3972

And^G1161 the Jews^G2453 also^G2532 joined^G4934 in the charge, affirming that^G5335 these things^G5023 were^G2192 so.^G3779

And^G1161 when^G3854 he^G846 was come,^G3854 the Jews^G2453 that^G3588 had come down^G2597 from^G575 Jerusalem^G2414 stood round about^G4026 him, bringing^G5342 against^G2596 him^G3972 many^G4183 and^G2532 grievous^G926 charges^G157 which^G3739 they could^G2480 not^G3756 prove;^G584

and^G2532 why not^G3361 (as^G2531 we are slanderously reported,^G987 and^G2532 as^G2531 some^G5100 affirm that^G5346 we^G2248 say),^{G3004 G3754} Let us do^G4160 evil,^G2556 that^G2443 good^G18 may come?^G2064 whose^G3739 condemnation^G2917 is^G2076 just.^G1738

who was^G5607 faithful^G4103 to him that appointed^G4160 him,^G846 as^G5613 also^G2532 was Moses^G3475 in^G1722 all^G3650 his^G846 house.^G3624
