And they forsook^H5800 all the commandments^H4687 of Jehovah^H3068 their God,^H430 and made^H6213 them molten images,^H4541 even two^H8147 calves,^H5695 and made^H6213 an Asherah,^H842 and worshipped^H7812 all the host^H6635 of heaven,^H8064 and served^H5647 Baal.^H1168

Prepare^H3559 ye slaughter^H4293 for his children^H1121 for the iniquity^H5771 of their fathers,^H1 that they rise^H6965 not^H1077 up, and possess^H3423 the earth,^H776 and fill^H4390 the face^H6440 of the world^H8398 with cities.^H6145

this is the word^H1697 which Jehovah^H3068 hath spoken^H1696 concerning him: The virgin^H1330 daughter^H1323 of Zion^H6726 hath despised^H959 thee and laughed thee to scorn;^H3932 the daughter^H1323 of Jerusalem^H3389 hath shaken^H5128 her head^H7218 at thee.^H310

Awake,^H5782 awake,^H5782 stand up,^H6965 O Jerusalem,^H3389 that hast drunk^H8354 at the hand^H3027 of Jehovah^H3068 the cup^H3563 of his wrath;^H2534 thou hast drunken^H8354 the bowl^H6907 of the cup^H3563 of staggering,^H8653 and drained^H4680 it.

Destruction^H7667 upon destruction^H7667 is cried;^H7121 for the whole land^H776 is laid waste:^H7703 suddenly^H6597 are my tents^H168 destroyed,^H7703 [and] my curtains^H3407 in a moment.^H7281

For death^H4194 is come up^H5927 into our windows,^H2474 it is entered^H935 into our palaces;^H759 to cut off^H3772 the children^H5768 from without,^H2351 [and] the young men^H970 from the streets.^H7339

Therefore thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 Ask^H7592 ye now among the nations,^H1471 who hath heard^H8085 such things; the virgin^H1330 of Israel^H3478 hath done^H6213 a very^H3966 horrible thing.^H8186

Again will I build^H1129 thee, and thou shalt be built,^H1129 O virgin^H1330 of Israel:^H3478 again shalt thou be adorned^H5710 with thy tabrets,^H8596 and shalt go forth^H3318 in the dances^H4234 of them that make merry.^H7832

What shall I testify^H5749 unto thee? what^H4100 shall I liken^H1819 to thee, O daughter^H1323 of Jerusalem?^H3389 What shall I compare^H7737 to thee, that I may comfort^H5162 thee, O virgin^H1330 daughter^H1323 of Zion?^H6726 For thy breach^H7667 is great^H1419 like the sea:^H3220 who can heal^H7495 thee?

After two days^H3117 will he revive^H2421 us: on the third^H7992 day^H3117 he will raise us up,^H6965 and we shall live^H2421 before him.^H6440

In that day^H3117 will I raise up^H6965 the tabernacle^H5521 of David^H1732 that is fallen,^H5307 and close up^H1443 the breaches^H6556 thereof; and I will raise up^H6965 its ruins,^H2034 and I will build^H1129 it as in the days^H3117 of old;^H5769
