In the ninth^H8671 year^H8141 of Hoshea^H1954 the king^H4428 of Assyria^H804 took^H3920 Samaria,^H8111 and carried^H1540 Israel^H3478 away^H1540 unto Assyria,^H804 and placed^H3427 them in Halah,^H2477 and on the Habor,^H2249 the river^H5104 of Gozan,^H1470 and in the cities^H5892 of the Medes.^H4074

Their infants^H5768 also shall be dashed in pieces^H7376 before their eyes;^H5869 their houses^H1004 shall be rifled,^H8155 and their wives^H802 ravished.^H7901

And thou, Pashhur,^H6583 and all that dwell^H3427 in thy house^H1004 shall go^H3212 into captivity;^H7628 and thou shalt come^H935 to Babylon,^H894 and there thou shalt die,^H4191 and there shalt thou be buried,^H6912 thou, and all thy friends,^H157 to whom thou hast prophesied^H5012 falsely.^H8267

Therefore thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Behold, I will send^H7971 thee away from off the face^H6440 of the earth:^H127 this year^H8141 thou shalt die,^H4191 because thou hast spoken^H1696 rebellion^H5627 against Jehovah.^H3068

Thus speaketh^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 the God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 saying,^H559 Because thou hast sent^H7971 letters^H5612 in thine own name^H8034 unto all the people^H5971 that are at Jerusalem,^H3389 and to Zephaniah^H6846 the son^H1121 of Maaseiah,^H4641 the priest,^H3548 and to all the priests,^H3548 saying,^H559

therefore thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Behold, I will punish^H6485 Shemaiah^H8098 the Nehelamite,^H5161 and his seed;^H2233 he shall not have a man^H376 to dwell^H3427 among^H8432 this people,^H5971 neither shall he behold^H7200 the good^H2896 that I will do^H6213 unto my people,^H5971 saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 because he hath spoken^H1696 rebellion^H5627 against Jehovah.^H3068

They ravished^H6031 the women^H802 in Zion,^H6726 The virgins^H1330 in the cities^H5892 of Judah.^H3063

They sacrifice^H2076 upon the tops^H7218 of the mountains,^H2022 and burn incense^H6999 upon the hills,^H1389 under oaks^H437 and poplars^H3839 and terebinths,^H424 because the shadow^H6738 thereof is good:^H2896 therefore your daughters^H1323 play the harlot,^H2181 and your brides^H3618 commit adultery.^H5003

For thus Amos^H5986 saith,^H559 Jeroboam^H3379 shall die^H4191 by the sword,^H2719 and Israel^H3478 shall surely^H1540 be led away captive^H1540 out of his land.^H127
