For the Chief Musician. Maschil of David; when Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul, and said unto him, David is come to the house of Ahimelech. Why boastest^H1984 thou thyself in mischief,^H7451 O mighty^H1368 man? The lovingkindness^H2617 of God^H410 [endureth] continually.^H3117

Surely men^H120 of low degree are vanity,^H1892 and men^H376 of high degree are a lie:^H3577 In^H5927 the balances^H3976 they will go up; They are together^H3162 lighter than vanity.^H1892

Deceit^H4820 is in the heart^H3820 of them that devise^H2790 evil;^H7451 But to the counsellors^H3289 of peace^H7965 is joy.^H8057

Eat^H3898 thou not the bread^H3899 of him that hath an evil^H7451 eye,^H5869 Neither desire^H183 thou his dainties:^H4303

And they bend^H1869 their tongue,^H3956 [as it were] their bow,^H7198 for falsehood;^H8267 and they are grown strong^H1396 in the land,^H776 but not for truth:^H530 for they proceed^H3318 from evil^H7451 to evil,^H7451 and they know^H3045 not me, saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

Say^H559 thou, Thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H3069 Shall it prosper?^H6743 shall he not pull up^H5423 the roots^H8328 thereof, and cut off^H7082 the fruit^H6529 thereof, that it may wither;^H3001 that all its fresh springing^H6780 leaves^H2964 may wither?^H3001 and not by a strong^H1419 arm^H2220 or much^H7227 people^H5971 can it be raised^H5375 from the roots^H8328 thereof.

And he said,^H559 Behold, I will make thee know^H3045 what shall be in the latter time^H319 of the indignation;^H2195 for it belongeth to the appointed^H4150 time of the end.^H7093

At the time appointed^H4150 he shall return,^H7725 and come^H935 into the south;^H5045 but it shall not be in the latter^H314 time as it was in the former.^H7223

And at the time^H6256 of the end^H7093 shall the king^H4428 of the south^H5045 contend^H5055 with him; and the king^H4428 of the north^H6828 shall come against him like a whirlwind,^H8175 with chariots,^H7393 and with horsemen,^H6571 and with many^H7227 ships;^H591 and he shall enter^H935 into the countries,^H776 and shall overflow^H7857 and pass through.^H5674

And^G1161 he said^G2036 unto^G4314 them,^G846 It^G1097 is^G2076 not^G3756 for you^G5216 to know^G1097 times^G5550 or^G2228 seasons,^G2540 which^G3739 the Father^G3962 hath set^G5087 within^G1722 His own^G2398 authority.^G1849

But^G1161 concerning^G4012 the times^G5550 and^G2532 the seasons,^G2540 brethren,^G80 ye have^G2192 no^G3756 need^G5532 that aught be written unto^G1125 you.^G5213
