TSK · Deuteronomy 8:2

An he cried^H6817 unto Jehovah;^H3068 And Jehovah^H3068 showed^H3384 him a tree,^H6086 and he cast^H7993 it into the waters,^H4325 and the waters^H4325 were made sweet.^H4985 There he made^H7760 for them a statute^H2706 and an ordinance,^H4941 and there he proved^H5254 them;

And the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 did eat^H398 the manna^H4478 forty^H705 years,^H8141 until they came^H935 to a land^H776 inhabited;^H3427 they did eat^H398 the manna,^H4478 until they came^H935 unto the borders^H7097 of the land^H776 of Canaan.^H3667

And it came to pass in the fortieth^H705 year,^H8141 in the eleventh^H6249 month,^H2320 on the first^H259 day of the month,^H2320 that Moses^H4872 spake^H1696 unto the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 according unto all that Jehovah^H3068 had given him in commandment^H6680 unto them;

For Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 hath blessed^H1288 thee in all the work^H4639 of thy hand;^H3027 he hath known^H3045 thy walking^H3212 through this great^H1419 wilderness:^H4057 these forty^H705 years^H8141 Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 hath been with thee; thou hast lacked^H2637 nothing.^H1697

who fed^H398 thee in the wilderness^H4057 with manna,^H4478 which thy fathers^H1 knew^H3045 not; that he might humble^H6031 thee, and that he might prove^H5254 thee, to do thee good^H3190 at thy latter end:^H319

And I have led^H3212 you forty^H705 years^H8141 in the wilderness:^H4057 your clothes^H8008 are not waxed old^H1086 upon you, and thy shoe^H5275 is not waxed old^H1086 upon thy foot.^H7272

But Hezekiah^H3169 rendered not again^H7725 according to the benefit^H1576 done unto him; for his heart^H3820 was lifted up:^H1361 therefore there was wrath^H7110 upon him, and upon Judah^H3063 and Jerusalem.^H3389

And when he was in distress,^H6887 he besought^H2470 Jehovah^H3068 his God,^H430 and humbled^H3665 himself greatly^H3966 before^H6440 the God^H430 of his fathers.^H1

That he may withdraw^H5493 man^H120 [from his] purpose,^H4639 And hide^H3680 pride^H1466 from man;^H1397

I will make mention^H2142 of the deeds^H4611 of Jehovah;^H3050 For I will remember^H2142 thy wonders^H6382 of old.^H6924

Bless^H1288 Jehovah,^H3068 O my soul,^H5315 And forget^H7911 not all his benefits:^H1576

To him that led^H3212 his people^H5971 through the wilderness;^H4057 For his lovingkindness^H2617 [endureth] for ever:^H5769

And the loftiness^H1365 of man^H120 shall be bowed down,^H7817 and the haughtiness^H7312 of men^H582 shall be brought low;^H8213 and Jehovah^H3068 alone shall be exalted^H7682 in that day.^H3117

The heart^H3820 is deceitful^H6121 above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt:^H605 who can know^H3045 it?

But who can abide^H3557 the day^H3117 of his coming?^H935 and who shall stand^H5975 when he appeareth?^H7200 for he is like a refiner's^H6884 fire,^H784 and like fuller's^H3526 soap:^H1287

and^G2532 because^G3754 he needed^G5532 not^G3756 that^G2443 any^G5100 one should bear witness^G3140 concerning^G4012 man;^G444 for^G1063 he^G846 himself knew^G1097 what^G5101 was^G2258 in^G1722 man.^G444

Knowing^G1097 that^G3754 the proving^G1383 of your^G5216 faith^G4102 worketh^G2716 patience.^G5281

Humble yourselves^G5013 in the sight of^G1799 the Lord,^G2962 and^G2532 he shall exalt^{G5312 G5312} you.^G5209

Likewise,^G3668 ye^G240 younger,^G3501 be subject^G5293 unto the elder.^G4245 Yea,^G1161 all^G3956 of you gird yourselves with^G1463 humility,^G5012 to serve one another:^G5293 for^G3754 God^G2316 resisteth^G498 the proud,^G5244 but^G1161 giveth^G1325 grace^G5485 to the humble.^G5011

This^G5026 is^G1125 now,^G2235 beloved,^G27 the second^G1208 epistle^G1992 that I^G1125 write^G1125 unto you;^G5213 and in^G1722 both of them^G3739 I stir up^G1326 your^G5216 sincere mind^G1271 by putting you in^G1722 remembrance;^G5280
