Come,^H3051 let us go down,^H3381 and there confound^H1101 their language,^H8193 that^H834 they may not understand^H8085 one^H376 another's^H7453 speech.^H8193

He saith^H559 in his heart,^H3820 I shall not be moved;^H4131 To all generations^H1755 I shall not be in adversity.^H7451

[ When thou saidst], Seek^H1245 ye my face;^H6440 My heart^H3820 said^H559 unto thee, Thy face,^H6440 Jehovah,^H3068 will I seek.^H1245

I communed^H1696 with mine own heart,^H3820 saying,^H559 Lo, I have gotten^H3254 me great^H1431 wisdom^H2451 above all that were before^H6440 me in Jerusalem;^H3389 yea, my heart^H3820 hath had great^H7235 experience^H7200 of wisdom^H2451 and knowledge.^H1847

Then^H227 said^H559 I in my heart,^H3820 As it happeneth^H4745 to the fool,^H3684 so will it happen^H7136 even to me;^H1571 and why was I then more^H3148 wise?^H2449 Then said^H1696 I in my heart,^H3820 that this also is vanity.^H1892

I said^H559 in my heart,^H3820 God^H430 will judge^H8199 the righteous^H6662 and the wicked;^H7563 for there is a time^H6256 there for every purpose^H2656 and for every work.^H4639

Then I commended^H7623 mirth,^H8057 because a man^H120 hath no better thing^H2896 under the sun,^H8121 than to eat,^H398 and to drink,^H8354 and to be joyful:^H8055 for that shall abide^H3867 with him in his labor^H5999 [all] the days^H3117 of his life^H2416 which God^H430 hath given^H5414 him under the sun.^H8121

And now I will tell^H3045 you what I will do^H6213 to my vineyard:^H3754 I will take away^H5493 the hedge^H4881 thereof, and it shall be eaten up;^H1197 I will break down^H6555 the wall^H1447 thereof, and it shall be trodden down:^H4823

Behold, all ye that kindle^H6919 a fire,^H784 that gird yourselves about^H247 with firebrands;^H2131 walk^H3212 ye in the flame^H217 of your fire,^H784 and among the brands^H2131 that ye have kindled.^H1197 This shall ye have of my hand;^H3027 ye shall lie down^H7901 in sorrow.^H4620

Now there was^G2258 a certain^G5100 rich^G4145 man,^G444 and^G2532 he was clothed^G1737 in purple^G4209 and^G2532 fine linen,^G1040 faring^G2165 sumptuously^G2988 every^G2596 day:^G2250

For^G1063 we^G2249 also^G2532 once^G4218 were^G1510 foolish,^G453 disobedient,^G545 deceived,^G4105 serving^G1398 divers^G4164 lusts^G1939 and^G2532 pleasures,^G2237 living^G1236 in^G1722 malice^G2549 and^G2532 envy,^G5355 hateful,^G4767 hating^G3404 one another.^G240

Come^G71 now,^G3568 ye rich,^G4145 weep^G2799 and howl^G3649 for^G1909 your^G5216 miseries^G5004 that are coming upon^G1904 you.

How much^G3745 soever she glorified^G1392 herself,^G1438 and^G2532 waxed wanton,^G4763 so much^G5118 give^G1325 her^G846 of torment^G929 and^G2532 mourning:^G3997 for^G3754 she saith^G3004 in^G1722 her^G846 heart,^G2588 I sit^G2521 a queen,^G938 and^G2532 am^G1510 no^G3756 widow,^G5503 and^G2532 shall in no^G3756 wise^G3361 see^G1492 mourning.^G3997
