2 And it was so, when the kingH4428 sawH7200 EstherH635 the queenH4436 standingH5975 in the court,H2691 that she obtainedH5375 favorH2580 in his sight;H5869 and the kingH4428 held outH3447 to EstherH635 the goldenH2091 sceptreH8275 that was in his hand.H3027 So EstherH635 drew near,H7126 and touchedH5060 the topH7218 of the sceptre.H8275
3 Then saidH559 the kingH4428 unto her, What wilt thou, queenH4436 Esther?H635 and what is thy request?H1246 it shall be givenH5414 thee even to the halfH2677 of the kingdom.H4438
4 And EstherH635 said,H559 If it seem goodH2895 unto the king,H4428 let the kingH4428 and HamanH2001 comeH935 this dayH3117 unto the banquetH4960 that I have preparedH6213 for him.
5 Then the kingH4428 said,H559 Cause HamanH2001 to make haste,H4116 that it may be doneH6213 as EstherH635 hath said.H1697 So the kingH4428 and HamanH2001 cameH935 to the banquetH4960 that EstherH635 had prepared.H6213
6 And the kingH4428 saidH559 unto EstherH635 at the banquetH4960 of wine,H3196 What is thy petition?H7596 and it shall be grantedH5414 thee: and what is thy request?H1246 even to the halfH2677 of the kingdomH4438 it shall be performed.H6213
7 Then answeredH6030 Esther,H635 and said,H559 My petitionH7596 and my requestH1246 is:
8 if I have foundH4672 favorH2580 in the sightH5869 of the king,H4428 and if it pleaseH2895 the kingH4428 to grantH5414 my petition,H7596 and to performH6213 my request,H1246 let the kingH4428 and HamanH2001 comeH935 to the banquetH4960 that I shall prepareH6213 for them, and I will doH6213 to-morrowH4279 as the kingH4428 hath said.H1697
9 Then wentH3318 HamanH2001 forthH3318 that dayH3117 joyfulH8056 and gladH2896 of heart:H3820 but when HamanH2001 sawH7200 MordecaiH4782 in the king'sH4428 gate,H8179 that he stood not upH6965 nor movedH2111 for him, heH2001 was filledH4390 with wrathH2534 against Mordecai.H4782

12 HamanH2001 saidH559 moreover, Yea, EstherH635 the queenH4436 did let no man come inH935 with the kingH4428 unto the banquetH4960 that she had preparedH6213 but myself; and to-morrowH4279 also am I invitedH7121 by her together with the king.H4428
