thou shalt not bow down^H7812 thyself unto them, nor serve^H5647 them; for I Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 am a jealous^H7067 God,^H430 visiting^H6485 the iniquity^H5771 of the fathers^H1 upon the children,^H1121 upon the third^H8029 and upon the fourth^H7256 generation of them that hate^H8130 me,

and I will send^H7971 an angel^H4397 before^H6440 thee; and I will drive out^H1644 the Canaanite,^H3669 the Amorite,^H567 and the Hittite,^H2850 and the Perizzite,^H6522 the Hivite,^H2340 and the Jebusite:^H2983

And he said,^H559 My presence^H6440 shall go^H3212 [with thee], and I will give thee rest.^H5117

and when we cried^H6817 unto Jehovah,^H3068 he heard^H8085 our voice,^H6963 and sent^H7971 an angel,^H4397 and brought us forth^H3318 out of Egypt:^H4714 and, behold, we are in Kadesh,^H6946 a city^H5892 in the uttermost^H7097 of thy border.^H1366

Thou answeredst^H6030 them, O Jehovah^H3068 our God:^H430 Thou wast a God^H410 that forgavest^H5375 them, Though thou tookest vengeance^H5358 of their doings.^H5949

Shall I not visit^H6485 for these things? saith^H5002 Jehovah;^H3068 and shall not my soul^H5315 be avenged^H5358 on such a nation^H1471 as this?

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 unto this people,^H5971 Even so have they loved^H157 to wander;^H5128 they have not refrained^H2820 their feet:^H7272 therefore Jehovah^H3068 doth not accept^H7521 them; now will he remember^H2142 their iniquity,^H5771 and visit^H6485 their sins.^H2403

As for the sacrifices^H2076 of mine offerings,^H1890 they sacrifice^H2077 flesh^H1320 and eat^H398 it; but Jehovah^H3068 accepteth^H7521 them not: now will he remember^H2142 their iniquity,^H5771 and visit^H6485 their sins;^H2403 they shall return^H7725 to Egypt.^H4714

For in the day^H3117 that I shall visit^H6485 the transgressions^H6588 of Israel^H3478 upon him, I will also visit^H6485 the altars^H4196 of Beth-el;^H1008 and the horns^H7161 of the altar^H4196 shall be cut off,^H1438 and fall^H5307 to the ground.^H776

Or^G2228 despisest^G2706 thou the riches^G4149 of his^G846 goodness^G5544 and^G2532 forbearance^G463 and^G2532 longsuffering,^G3115 not knowing^G50 that^G3754 the goodness^G5543 of God^G2316 leadeth^G71 thee^G4571 to^G1519 repentance?^G3341
