These three^H7969 were the sons^H1121 of Noah:^H5146 and of these was the whole earth^H776 overspread.^H5310

And unto Eber^H5677 were born^H3205 two^H8147 sons:^H1121 the name^H8034 of the one^H259 was Peleg;^H6389 for in his days^H3117 was the earth^H776 divided;^H6385 and his brother's^H251 name^H8034 was Joktan.^H3355

And the whole earth^H776 was of one^H259 language^H8193 and of one^H259 speech.^H1697

Therefore was the name of it^H8034 called^H7121 Babel;^H894 because Jehovah^H3068 did there confound^H1101 the language^H8193 of all the earth:^H776 and from thence did^H6327 Jehovah^H3068 scatter them abroad^H6327 upon the face^H6440 of all the earth.^H776

And the king^H4428 Ahasuerus^H325 laid^H7760 a tribute^H4522 upon the land,^H776 and upon the isles^H339 of the sea.^H3220

And it shall come to pass in that day,^H3117 that the Lord^H136 will set^H3254 his hand^H3027 again^H3254 the second time^H8145 to recover^H7069 the remnant^H7605 of his people,^H5971 that shall remain,^H7604 from Assyria,^H804 and from Egypt,^H4714 and from Pathros,^H6624 and from Cush,^H3568 and from Elam,^H5867 and from Shinar,^H8152 and from Hamath,^H2574 and from the islands^H339 of the sea.^H3220

Behold, the nations^H1471 are as a drop^H4752 of a bucket,^H1805 and are accounted^H2803 as the small dust^H7834 of the balance:^H3976 Behold, he taketh up^H5190 the isles^H339 as a very little thing.^H1851

He will not fail^H3543 nor be discouraged,^H7533 till he have set^H7760 justice^H4941 in the earth;^H776 and the isles^H339 shall wait^H3176 for his law.^H8451

Listen,^H8085 O isles,^H339 unto me; and hearken,^H7181 ye peoples,^H3816 from far:^H7350 Jehovah^H3068 hath called^H7121 me from the womb;^H990 from the bowels^H4578 of my mother^H517 hath he made mention^H2142 of my name:^H8034

According to^H5921 their deeds,^H1578 accordingly he will repay,^H7999 wrath^H2534 to his adversaries,^H6862 recompense^H1576 to his enemies;^H341 to the islands^H339 he will repay^H7999 recompense.^H1576

For pass over^H5674 to the isles^H339 of Kittim,^H3794 and see;^H7200 and send^H7971 unto Kedar,^H6938 and consider^H995 diligently;^H3966 and see^H7200 if there hath been such a thing.

Jehovah^H3068 will be terrible^H3372 unto them; for he will famish^H7329 all the gods^H430 of the earth;^H776 and men shall worship^H7812 him, every one^H376 from his place,^H4725 even all the isles^H339 of the nations.^H1471
